“Ashland - Setting New Standards of Academic Excellence”

Superintendent Tweets

 Ashland Public Schools'
 Instructional Calendar -
Changes Needed?

"As our district and state encounters new accountability measures and exams, such as PARCC, does it make sense to adjust our calendar?  Should we start before or after Labor Day?  Should we have one vacation in March and not in February and April?  Should we take the vacation weeks and create four day weeks instead of two full vacation weeks? Will our students and families benefit academically and emotionally from potential changes?"
