Getting Ready for Day 1 

Paul Vieira, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment, leads a training for new substitute teachers.

It's all hands on deck as Principal Michael A. Caira Jr. helps get Mindess ready for the first day of school.  Mr. Caira was principal at Warren School  for the past four years before being named principal at Mindess School this summer.

Special Education teacher Kyle Cacciapaglia adds some color to her walls as she readies her classroom before the start of school.

  • School Choice Enrollment for 2016-2017 The Ashland Public Schools will accept a limited number of students under the School Choice Program for the 2016-2017 school year.  School Choice enrollment is limited to the following:  ten (10) seats in Grade 9, ten (10) seats in Grade 10, ten (10) seats in Grade 11 and ten (10) seats in Grade 12.  NO seats are available in Grades K-8. Process for application:  Interested parties must submit an application to the office of the Superintendent no later than May 20, 2016.  If more requests are received than the number of seats available, a lottery will be held on May 24, 2016 and assignments will be made that same day.  After this date, assignments will be made on ...

  • Superintendent’s Clarification of February 10, 2016 Email Update on Override On February 10, 2016 an email was sent from the Superintendent’s office to the school community which updated the community on a number of news items. This email included among other updates an update that the Board of Selectmen had voted to place an operational override ballot on the warrant for the May, 2016 Town Meeting. The email stated “[f]or more information on the Override please visit: http://yesforashland.org.” The email should also have stated, however, that the website referred to is a private website, that it is not a school district or Town of Ashland website, and that the website is not supported or endorsed by the Ashland Public Schools, the Superintendent, the Town of Ashland ...
