The Ashland Public Schools will accept a limited number of students under the School Choice Program for the 2017-2018 school year.
School Choice enrollment is limited to the following: Five (5) seats in Kindergarten, five (5) seats in Grade 7, ten (10) seats in Grade 9, ten (10) seats in Grade 10, ten (10) seats in Grade 11and ten (10) seats in Grade 12. NO seats are available in Grades 1-6, and 8.
Process for application: Interested parties must submit an application to the office of the Superintendent no later than May 26, 2017. If more requests are received than the number of seats available, a lottery will be held on May 30, 2017 and assignments will be made that same day. After this date, assignments will be made on a first-come, first served basis until available seats are filled. The Ashland School Committee approved the new school start times for the 2017-18 school year at their November 9, 2016 meeting.
The new times are as follows:
Mindess School (Grades 3-5) 7:55 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.
Ashland Middle School (Grades 6-8) 8:15 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
Ashland High School (Grades 9-12) 8:20 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Warren School (Grades K-2) 8:50 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
