Senior Events Schedule
Please review the following schedule of senior events, which will be updated with specific information about each event as we get closer. Any event marked by an asterisk (*) is a mandatory event.

- 8:30 a.m.: Chromebook return
- 9–11 a.m.: Graduation rehearsal*; Students will receive caps and gowns after this rehearsal.
- 6–8 p.m.: Senior Banquet(student-only event) at AHS
June 4
- 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (approx.times): Six Flags amusement park
June 5
- 9–11 a.m.: Graduation rehearsal *
- 5- 9:30 p.m.: Boat Cruise in Boston Harbor; return to AHS
June 6
- 8:30 a.m.: Students report to the AHS cafeteria
- 9:30 a.m.: Class Day*; Bus tour of APS following Class Day ceremony
- 5 p.m.: Doors open, and students report to the AHS gym
- 6 p.m.: Graduation

Can we stay and take pictures after graduation?
You are welcome to take pictures with family and friends after the graduation ceremony. School rules are expected to be followed at all times.

Is transportation provided for off-campus events?
Students are required to take school transportation to all Senior Week off-campus events.

What are the arrival and dismissal procedures for the graduation ceremony?
Seniors should report to the graduation site one hour before the ceremony starts. Seniors must check in with campus staff and line up in alphabetical order to be ready to enter the venue on time.
Graduates are expected to remain seated until the end of the ceremony and cannot leave early before the event ends.

What are the student expectations for the graduation ceremony?
According to the Ashland Public Schools' Student Code of Conduct, a student's participation in the district's graduation ceremony is optional. For graduating seniors opting to attend the graduation ceremony, we advise and remind students of the following:
• During the graduation ceremonies, graduates must remain seated at all times, unless directed to stand;
• Graduates must comply with regular school rules regarding electronics, including cell phones and cameras;
• Conduct judged by the principal as being disruptive to the graduation ceremony will be addressed accordingly (e.g. removal from the event and/or withholding of the diploma pending a parent conference).

What is the dress code for graduation?
Seniors must wear a graduation cap and gown. They may also wear school-issued Honor Cords and campus-approved stoles.
Caps can be decorated, as long as they meet school guidelines for appropriate content. Decorations must lie flat.

When and how can I purchase tickets for Senior Week?
Tickets for Senior Week will go on sale from Sunday, March 1 to Monday, March 31. All class dues must be paid to purchase a Senior Week ticket.
Like class dues, you can buy using a credit card on GoFan, or pay by cash or check when class officers sell tickets in the cafeteria. Tickets are $130 and include all events. If you need financial assistance, don't hesitate to contact your advisors or school administrators.

Where can I park on graduation day?
Student parking will be reserved for students driving themselves.
Students may be dropped off at Ashland High School one hour before the ceremony starts.
