Contact Tracing

  • Effective January 10, 2022, Ashland Public Schools has moved to a different model for contact tracing due to diminished capacity during the COVID-19 Omicron variant surge.

When we have a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in any of our schools, families of impacted children will be notified by their building principals. At the high school, impacted students will be notified by email. Please ask your high school student to check their school email account regularly.

All students in impacted buildings should be considered a close contact and monitored for symptoms. If they become symptomatic, students must stay home and get tested.

If your child tests positive for COVID-19, please contact your child's school nurse and proceed to notify all close contacts.
