The Ashland Public Schools Transportation Department works hard to configure the safest, most punctual and most convenient bus routes, as listed below.
Bus Routes for the 2023-2024 School Year
The times listed are approximate, and we recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early at the bus stop.
Please note: These bus routes are accurate as of Thursday, August 31. Individual bus routes may be updated separately. Please see the following listed documents.
The bus 10 pick-up schedule has been updated as of Thursday, September 8 to make the trip time more effective. Due to construction sites, please be aware there may be some bumps along the way.
The bus 15 pick-up schedule has been updated as of Thursday, September 14.
For the 2023–2024 school year, students will not be asked to present a bus pass during the first few days of school, as the bus company is aware that students will not have their bus passes yet. We will distribute bus passes to students during the first week of school.
2023-2024 Bus Registration
Per Massachusetts General Law, and Ashland School Committee policy, Ashland Public Schools provides free transportation to Ashland students in Grades K-6 who reside more than two (2.0) miles from school. Students in Grades K-6 who live two or fewer miles from school and all students in Grades 7-12 may pay an annual transportation fee if they want to take the bus to and from school. Due to limited transportation options, all paid seats will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be assigned to a bus once their full and complete application has been received. Once bus capacity has been reached, a waitlist will be created. Late registrations will be placed on a waitlist and offered a seat if one becomes available during the school year.
