Henry Warren Elementary School
Drop Off
Drop off at the Warren School begins at 8:45 a.m. Buses and staff vehicles will be the only vehicles permitted in the front driveway during arrival (8:45–9:15 a.m.) and dismissal (3:15–3:45 p.m.) during the school day.
Please note that the direction of the front driveway has been reversed to allow students exiting the bus to enter the school without crossing in front of the bus.
Cars should enter the school through the rear driveway on Eliot Street. There are no left turns into the driveway. Drivers should pull up to the marked area next to the playground. Staff will help direct traffic but not open car doors to limit contact. Students should exit the vehicle from the passenger side. If you need to enter the school, please park in a lined parking spot in front of the school.
Pick-Up
Pick up for Warren School students begins at 3:25 p.m. Drivers must enter the school through the back driveway on Eliot Street. There are no left turns into the driveway. Vehicles must pull up to the designated area between the gym and playground. Cars located in the area between the gym door and the recess door will be loaded. Staff members will not open car doors to limit contact. Children must enter the vehicle from the passenger side.
Families picking up their children in the afternoon will be provided a sign for their vehicle to be placed where it's visible to all Warren School staff.
If you need to enter the school, please park in a lined parking spot in front of the school.

David Mindess Elementary School
At David Mindess Elementary School, there are distinct procedures for students who walk and those who are dropped off or picked up from school in a vehicle. Please read thoroughly.
Walkers Arrival
Students walking to school should walk to the front doors. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
Walkers Dismissal
Students going left onto Concord Road leave the building through the front door and walk down the sidewalk by the car drop-off and pick-up lane. They are guided through the crosswalk. Students who go right take the sidewalk along the loop and do not cross the street.
Morning Drop-off and Pick-up
For both drop off and pick up, please enter the main parking lot and drive around the loop to the front of the school. We ask that you drive up to the fence so that we can load and unload as many cars as possible. During morning arrival, staff will be holding signs telling you to keep moving and when to stop. In the afternoon, during car pickup, we will begin loading cars at the crosswalk. Staff will be holding signs that say, “loading zone.” Students should not enter cars until the car is beyond the first line of the crosswalk markings.
Please do not pass cars during drop off/pick up. There should be no one in the left lane. Our goal is to keep everyone safe, and we request that you stay in the line of cars throughout the entire process. All students should exit and enter the car on the passenger side.

Asland Middle School
Students may be dropped off at Ashland Middle School between 8-8:15 a.m. Stay in the left lane upon entering the school. You will take a U-turn before you reach the rotary in front of the school (the rotary in front of the school is reserved for buses in the morning for safety purposes). Drivers should pull up as far as they can along the right side of the exit road, regardless of whether anyone is in front of them, to decrease waiting time for everyone. Students should exit the passenger side of the vehicle. All cars should be careful to yield for buses exiting the rotary.
Students should enter the school at the small gym entrance where buses drop off students. 6th-grade students will enter the small gym, 7th-grade students will enter the cafe and 8th-grade students will enter the large gym to wait to be released to lockers. Homeroom lists will be posted in these areas, and students should check these lists when entering school.
For student pick-up in the afternoon, parents or caregivers follow the same procedure. In addition, the parking spaces adjacent to the exit road will be reserved for student pick-up. Once spaces along the exit road are filled, parents or caregivers may park in those reserved spaces to allow students to cross the sidewalk safely and get into the car without entering the parking lot. For safety, all drivers should park in a marked space not in non-designated parking spaces.

Ashland High School
Drop-off Procedure
To ensure a safe and orderly start to the school day, please adhere to the following drop-off procedures. Parents/caregivers should use the back entrance for student drop-off, as bus students are dropped off at the front of the school. Parents should pull up as far as possible in the back of the school, close to the sidewalk, to assist with the flow of traffic. Students exiting cars should check for oncoming traffic. Students should never exit the car in the right lane. Students with a permit who are driving to school should pull into the back parking lot to switch drivers.
Dismissal Procedure
At dismissal, caregivers picking students up will pull to the far corner of the back of the building. Cones will mark the front of the line. Student drivers will be dismissed for five minutes after dismissal, then the parent drivers will be released. No students should be picked up on East Union Street.
Student Drivers
Student drivers interested in purchasing a parking pass may do so at any time throughout the school year once they obtain their license or a car. Parking passes can be purchased during school hours.
Student drivers who park on school grounds without a parking permit will receive a warning notice. Students who do not purchase a parking pass will lose the privilege to park on school grounds. If you or your student need to work out a payment plan, please contact the Dean of Students.
All students are reminded to follow the rules of the road while on school grounds or risk losing parking privileges.
