- School nurses should be informed of any COVID-19 related situation including symptoms, absences, and scheduled testing.

How will I know if someone in my child(ren)'s school has COVID?
- Families of impacted children will be notified by their building principals. Please make sure your child’s school has an updated email address to ensure you receive notifications. At the high school, impacted students will be notified by email. Please ask your high school student to check their school email account regularly.

- Students with confirmed COVID-19 must follow isolation protocols as determined by the Board of Health. Please contact your school nurse for more guidance.

Bus riders may choose to wear a mask while on the bus, but it is not required.

- Mask wearing is required for all students, including those with disabilities unless a medical exemption is in place.

What types of PPE will be provided to students at school?
Parents may provide their child(ren) with a clean mask each school day. If a child forgets their mask or it breaks, schools do have extra masks available.
