Submit a Flyer
As a community service, Ashland Public Schools looks forward to working with the community to share relevant opportunities for students, families, staff and faculty through our online Community Bulletin Board.
The Community Bulletin Board will be updated every Friday, except on holidays or nonwork days. For your flyer to be considered, you must submit it by 8 a.m. on Monday of each week to be included in Friday’s distribution. Flyers received after 8 a.m. on Monday will be posted the following week.

How can I make my flyer accessible?
Some of our students and families may not be able to open, read or understand attachments such as PDFs, depending on their ability, device and software access. It's essential to submit a brief description of the event (who, what, when, where, how much, link to register, etc.) to ensure that information can be more accessible.
Additionally, here are some tips to create a more accessible flyer and blurb:
- When adding a QR code to your flyer, be sure to add a typed URL next to the QR code.
- Use descriptive link text that clearly indicates where the user will be taken when they click the link.
- Use bold text for headings, rather than italics or underlining. This can be easier for dyslexic people to read.
- Make sure you use high contrast colors for your background and text (i.e. don't use blue font on a red background as it's hard to read).
- Always provide alt text for all images.

What are some tips to design an effective, eye-catching flyer?
- Use colorful graphics and photos, but don't make it look too busy.
- Add your registration URL during the upload process and make sure to link it to your document before you save it as a PDF.
- Be sure it's clear who your organization is and what you do by including your logo.
- Don't forget to include the location, time and date of your event.
- Use large, colorful graphics to make it easy for users to read on their smartphone.
