Currently, Ashland Preschool follows the Houghton Mifflin curriculum. Each school year we have eight learning themes to base our instruction off of. Our teachers embed our content areas and learning standards into theme-based activities each and every day to make learning relevant and meaningful.
Social Emotional Curriculum
We have implemented a new social emotional curriculum, PATHS. PATHS supports our PBIS instruction and provides lessons and activities to support learning new skills in this area. The content includes learning expectations for activities, identifying feelings/emotions, learning strategies to support emotional regulation, social skills and developing self-advocacy.
