Enrollment of students is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to program availability. For the 2025–2026 school year, open enrollment for current/alumni families begins at 7 a.m. on January 6 and closes on January 17. 

Enrollment for new students and families begins at 7 a.m. on January 22 and closes on February 5. Any registration received before 7 a.m. on January 22 will not be accepted.

Once you download the application, save it and open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Use the Fill & Sign tool, then save and rename the file with your student’s first and last name. Once the form is completed and renamed, email it to dlowell@ashland.k12.ma.us. You may also use Mozilla Firefox or the Preview app on Apple devices to fill in the form. Step-by-step instructions and video tutorials for each program are listed on the right side.

Applications will be processed by the date and time they arrive in our inbox. You will receive an email within one day (excluding holidays or weekends) confirming we received your registration. If you do not receive an email confirming receipt within one business day, please call (508) 881-0160 or email dlowell@ashland.k12.ma.us.

Age Requirements and Eligibility

To be eligible to enroll at Ashland Preschool, your child's date of birth must be between September 1, 2020 and August 31, 2022 to register for preschool. Please note that if your child is five years old on or before August 31, 2025, your child is Kindergarten-eligible. We do not accept registration for Kindergarten-eligible students.

Children five years old on or before August 31, 2025 cannot enroll in Ashland Preschool. They may enroll at Henry Warren Elementary School. For more information about Kindergarten registration, visit ashland.k12.ma.us/KinderRegistration.

Placement Notification Process

You will receive an email notification once your child is placed. At that time, you have one week to submit your non-refundable registration fee of $175.00 to secure your spot through the Town of Ashland payment portal.
